Anyone
can help
even if they
cannot sew. We have a saying..."If you can count to five, we can use
you!" Some of our ladies sew at home and others join us each Friday
or once a month. We can drop off/ pick up items for you. Just call us.
Our
Goal
Our
goal is to reach parents and families at a time in their lives when
they need to be reassured that God is there and that
He is always faithful.
We strive to provide the needs of parents while their babies are
hospitalized due to illness or premature birth. We supply hand made
baby blankets, clothing, other items, and prayers. These items are made
because some of these babies are so small, store bought clothes are to
large for them.
We also reach out to parents who experience the death of a baby due to
miscarriage, still birth, illness, or infant death by providing burial
gowns, memory items, and prayers.
Our
chapter currently services
North
Central
Baptist
Hospital
's Special Needs Nursery. The hospital is building a Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit that will handle an amount of 24 tiny and ill infants,
to be opened August 2006.
